Description Ummm, i'm PMS-ing, so very much that's how i feel. I'm getting better at him, am i? Somebody here told me not to use symmetric proportions on him and i'll get the maniacal 'Hirano effect'. So i'm trying that now, let see how many of you will say that it still sucks.

This post it's just for the sake of posting a post. ~ Based on an original quote from 'Peanuts'.

Guess why does he really have that face, nope, it's not for Edward Cullen.

Aaaw...You okay? For PMS, dairy and fish are known to help with the symptoms like cramps, headaches and fatigue. There are some medication too, but I'm not sure if you would prefer acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or naproxen sodium. There are more nature aids too.

When i'm like this dear 2 things happens:

1 I get to draw better than ever (heck knows why)
and

2 My body refuses to eat... i only ate an hour ago just to shut my belly up, but i need to eat little or i'll trhow up. I also got aspirin. Because it's holy friday, the neigbors hasn't bugged with the darn loud radio, so my ears are at peace.... until tomorrow.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RyuDovah In reply to Annie-O [2011-04-22 22:37:29 +0000 UTC]

That is an enigma, I still rather not have you aching and suffering.
I wonder if it's because the PMS is causing stress and drawing is an outlet for that stress.
Maybe no one will play with the radio for another couple of days since Easter in on the way too.

It hurts that you hurt..It is a curse...There is a way to not have any periods except four times a year with symptoms reduced in severity. I refused that option for reasons I can't state here, but maybe you will want to do it since you do not plan on having a family and the periods are enough to interfere with your life.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Annie-O In reply to RyuDovah [2011-04-23 18:55:23 +0000 UTC]

I once asked my dad about it (he was my guru for everything) and he said that it's better not to mess with nature because it could trigger me some reply that i may don't like at all.

Um, one question, on my poll, were you one of those who replied 'Nah' to the preview pages? i'm close to posting another preview, so i want to know.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RyuDovah In reply to Annie-O [2011-04-24 00:17:17 +0000 UTC]

Well, recently, medical science found that women don't necessarily have to get periods every month, but four a year is recommended to help with hormones. There are new birth controls designed for it, but with doctor's approval, you can use any birth control and skip placebos to keep the estrogen up, meaning no period. I have to take control because of a problem that leads to blood loss, but I chose to have 12 monthly's a year for fertility reasons. But that will be a little bit longer before anything happens. It is a choice, you're really not supposed to mess with the body unless the situation is life threatening without any other options. It's a choice that's getting popular, though.

Huh? No, I voted "Yes, I would love to see it." I am being honest, I like what you do and previews sound like fun, it will make everyone on the edge of their seats in hopes to see the finished product. I don't know who would say no. I really want to see everything you make. May I ask why you think I would say no? It's not that I'm upset, but it made me curious.

Also, there's the lemon. By accident one day pms-ing i drank some lemonade and my period stopped for more than a day when it wasn't supposed to..... later it came back with the most horrible pain i've ever faced in my life. This happened on another occasion too, but my dad told me once again that it wasn't a good idea. The lemon works, it cuts the period like a blade.

It's an idea i got because pages take me a while and i don't like loosing my fans due to absence.

RyuDovah In reply to Annie-O [2011-04-24 06:45:42 +0000 UTC]

Okay! I found out why the lemon or any other citrus fruit does it! This is actually an old remedy. Lemons, oranges, limes, and grapefruits, etc. are very high in vitamin C, which is an asortic acid. It is known to "detox" the body, included the period. High doses of Vitamin C or eating or drinking a lot of products from citruses like the lemon could increase estrogen, which delays or shorten periods. However, once the Vitamin C is fully absorbed, estrogen levels will drop and the period will come back with possibly more intensity. It may be because you haven't let your body have regular Vitamin C therapy, so it tries to make up lost time while you had the lemon. Unfortunately, upon learning this, I will have to give up my Vitamin C supplements. (To keep from getting sick during the winter and at work with different diseases.) I learn this is also attempt to abort very early stages of pregnancy or miscarriage can occur.

I can give my sources for validity, but to be sure, I will go see a doctor or ask the pharmacist I work with about it on Monday since tomorrow is Easter and for that, I don't work and all clinics except the E.R are closed.

Also, I came across this site. It's of superstitions in your country and culture. I found it to be interesting, but I want to see your opinions on it. [link]

One I agree with it this:
"pregnant women are prohibited from eat cherries, lemons, codfish, and herring with fried eggs." As I mention before, lemons or citrus fruits can cause miscarriage because of hormone levels affected by Vitamin C. Some fishes like Cod can contain a metal called Mercury. It is poisonous and can cause mental damage from long exposure or excessive amounts in the body. (Like Mad Hatter Disease, I can explain that if you like.) Anyways Mercury will stay in your system for years and accumulate from each exposure. In pregnancy, mercury can harm the child. Medical research found some evidence that mercury exposure from fish may cause Autism in the child, but those are still theories. Cherries...are strange, there is no harm in eating them during pregnancy.

Aah! @3@ I could go on forever, but I'll hush. I just kind of got excited and I thought you would like an explanation to why what you had happened, and I wanted you to see the site holding Dominican Republic superstitions.

Again, none of your fans will leave you just because it takes a little bit to work on the comic pages. I will swear to that.

Thank you very much. I hoped it helps some.

Not to worry, you won't be harmed in any way for walking under stairs. I do that in the basement, since the storage is kind of behind and under the stairs.

Well, long ago, there were companies that made felt hats. To help make them, workers had to use Mercury or quick silver to help shape these hats. Again, long exposure to Mercury can cause neurological damage. The workshops in the factories had poor ventilation back then, so workers had to breathe in the toxic fumes. Mercury Workers in these hat factories began to suffer from early dementia, slurred speech, tremors, seizures, no coordination and even death. Many People hardly knew about Mercury and that it's a dangerous metal, so they assumed it was insanity. Since only the workers in these hat companies had these problems, they refer to "Mad as a Hatter," or the Mad Hatter Disease or Mad Hatter Syndrome, a link to the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland.

I heard about it in high school, but there are places online that put more in depth of it. Here is one site about some of the history: [link]

Thank you

I promise to try not to go. I won't unless something happened in my personal life, but I don't think anything like that won't happen.

No, no one will go anywhere whether you preview or not. They love your stuff far too much to leave, so you're okay. Don't hurry and do what you will. I promise no one will leave because of having to wait. At least I won't go.

I rarely have lemons here now to avoid another incident by mistake. And very delicious with the summer, too.

There was a time that when i came back after a long time, that my fans had left, luckily, i later meet new ones. I hope not, pookie! You're our new base, since our lovely Kat became disappointed with DA.

I'm not much of a lemon person, but I believe lemonade and other things from it are yummy. After and before periods, some lemons wouldn't hurt, so don't entirely give it up.

I am a DA addict and I like you and your work, so I won't be leaving anytime soon. I try my best to please others.
