Thank you for this lovely critique. About the borderline, I didn't see it, I'll try to remove it. About the hightlights, alas, I can't do many things: the original picture is very contrasted, in the darkness with a bright light behind the model; I tried to do my best to soften it (redrawing a part of its left side, playing with the light and shadow functions), and it is difficult to do more.

It is a lovely work anyway. I thought it was the result of the "detail increasing" (it happened to me sometimes when I do not fine tune very well the parameters).
As for the line, it is there but you need to look very closely to notice it. I noticed that because I came across that issue in the past so my eyes are immediately driven to that.
The way to get rid of it is quite simple (providing you are working on Photoshop):
just make a rough selection of your subject with the lasso while you have your mask selected. Then apply a very small Gaussian blur (1 or 2 pix would serve). Then call the "levels" and start pulling the shadows towards left (darker) and you'll notice that the line will progressively disappear. You have to be careful though not to overdo that too much or also part of you subject will start to disappear (especially starting from the hairs). But you can always fine tune your mask.
All that, of course, if you are working on PS.

I didn't use any PNG, only photos: the line appeared when I put a high-pass filter on my picture to reveal the details, so it is easy to remove by removing the concerned parts of the filter
I did it but, finally, I like more the version with the line.

j'ose pas trop critiquer,j'ai peur que tu penses que je me relève la nuit pour ça !!!!!! mais Anne pourquoi avoir flouter le tigre au premier plan et pas le personnage ? J'aurai pour donner plus de profondeur flouté légèrement le personnage pour y donner du recul . Mais c'est juste un avis, pas la vérité Trés beau travail

J'y ai pensé aussi, j'ai hésité puis choisi l'autre solution. Le thème du challenge n'est pas étranger à ma décision: le thème principal en étant la profondeur, il semblait bon de flouter le 1er plan, et j'aurais trouvé dommage que ce soit le modèle...
