Description If you don't like Dito we can't be friends ;n;
I really liked Dito and Decadus out of Zero's disciples but I think Dito has the edge! But only by a bit!!
Now back to money farming for branch D lmfao

Aghh, I spent several hours farming money to upgrade all the weapons. It wasn't fun, but it was one of the last things I had to do to complete it, so I was OK with it. What method are you using?

Nice work. I like the expression and the little details, like the pattern on that neck accessory thing.

Oh I did mountain payday and I think the amberstone chest thing, I hate using chakrams so I couldn't do desert payday >w< but fortunately I was at about 70% when I finished the lost verses so it didn't take toooooo long. How about you? ^^

Thank you very much they were a pain in the ass haha!

I hate Chakrams too but if you get a strong enough Chakram and you play the first desert request (I think it's called Like a Falling Stone) enough times to learn the general spawn points of the item-dropping enemies, it's not too bad. It can be finished fairly quickly. You don't have to use Chakrams for the actual Desert Payday. Most people will tell you to murder everything with the strongest spear's square-triangle-triangle-triangle-etc combo. I think that's the input, anyway. The one where you rapidly stab with triangle until your stamina runs out.

I didn't buy much while playing through the story, and I tried to finish most of the requests and get all the treasure chests on the way, so I had enough to buy all the weapons without grinding. I had to grind to upgrade them all after Branch D though.

You're welcome.

Haha, yeah but, I was so bad at using them 9/10 times I would time out on even the easy chakram requests lol
Yes I love square triangle triangle triangle triangle on spear it's so overkill half the time, you can pretty easily play through the game with the spear except with imps but they're bastards anyways >>

That's so restrained! I had to try and buy and upgrade everything in the first half haha ;A; but asdfgh you're so lucky it's a bit annoying when you're so into the story then nope, off you go to money farm to buy weapons!!! ><

Wow did you get the platinum trophy for the game then? *u*

If you want, I suggest trying to use the strongest Chakram and upgrading it as high as you can. I think it's "Widow's Sin", Branch C Verse 5. It's slow, but you can just use the basic square combo and I THINK the enemies will go down in just a few hits and you can dash cancel out of it to move on when they're dead.

Unless you know the spawn points or are targeting a Wizard, you might waste time running across to an opposite side of the arena; just circle the perimeter dashing and killing along the way. Don't stop to kill every soldier (unless there are no Wizards left), but kill some here and there along the way.
Again though, just a suggestion; if you're uncomfortable using the chakrams, then play something more suited to you.

Have you gotten into parrying? I didn't use it most of the game but after I was done everything else, I was experimenting with other weapons (instead of the overkill spear ) against tougher enemies to find different wats to deal with them. I got a kick out of punching and kicking the crap out of big enemies using bracers, parrying their attacks then continuing my assault. "Tyrant's Playthings" (and some others) have infinite square and triangle combos, at least until your stamina runs out on triangle. Fun.

I know! But I'm really conservative with almost every game when it comes to consumable items/money. I can't help it.
I think I only bought a few healing items when I really needed it and I may have upgraded just the strongest weapons of my most-used weapon types.

I did get the Platinum. Some parts were tough and I had to use help on them though (not having another person play for me, but I needed guiding help or a costume). It was less tedious than NIER's Platinum at least.

Oh thank you!! I'll give it a shot sometime! I would like to try and get platinum but I doubt I will ;u;

I kind of go on and off the bracers they are fun on enemies like trolls, but there's nothing as satisfying as doing spinslash combo with the sword and taking out a crowd of soldiers! :>

Haha I've heard NieR's a bitch to platinum so omfg congratulations man XD

You're welcome.
There's only one Trophy I would call really difficult (and even then, there is help you can get for it but it's still tricky). The rest are more just time-consuming at worst.

My favourite sword attack is...I think it's called Sigil Burst or something like that. You stick the sword in the ground and magic spear things or something jut out of the ground around you. I know Nier's DLC sword has it, but I don't know what other swords have it.
If you like taking out crowds, I wonder if you'd like something like Sengoku Basara. Have you tried it?

Thanks.
NIER's Platinum is more just tedious than it is difficult. The most time-consuming one has to do not with grinding money, but random drops. At least with money in Drakengard 3, it's not random.
But I loved the game enough to put the time into it all.

Which trophy is that? o:

Asdfgh same here it's like a cute version of dark execution? Noo I haven't, I have heard of Sengoku Basara but never looked into it haha! If it's like Drakengard 3 that's great!! I really liked the fighting it was quite simple but fun, I kind of suck at hack and slash games when the make them complicated with loads of weapons and modes and combo systems and asdfgh ;n;

Yeah, there are a lot of fetch twenty bear asses sidequests with NieR right? You're still very patient even if you love the game!

The Trophy for completing Branch D. I won't say why though. Hopefully it hasn't been spoiled for you.

When I was playing Drakengard 3, the combat kinda reminded me of Sengoku Basara. Don't worry, Sengoku Basara isn't complicated. It's simple and fun but still offers some room for strategy. You get a lot of different playable characters and they're pretty unique from each other. It's fun trying them all out and seeing how your playstyle might change from character to character. Some are really interesting and creative.

Each character only has a few special moves and the inputs are really simple, but it's how and when you use the moves that matters to maximize your efficiency or keep your combo going (combo counts in this game are just how many hits you land on any enemy before too much time has passed since your last hit; it's not as "strict" like a fighting game or something). There aren't any long combo string inputs.

You can find or make accessories to give you additional effects and bonuses and find new weapons with different stats, effects, and slots for accessories. There's a nice opportunity to try different approaches, like sacrificing health or defense for power. There's also local co-op.

The game has a crazy over-the-top style and a fun, campy mood throughout. Action-wise, it looks kinda like Devil May Cry except your attacks can kill dozens of enemies at once.

Haha.
For the last upgrades, it's not that I had to fetch a large number of bear asses; it's that I killed the same enemies for hours and hours HOPING they'd drop even one bear ass.
