a few years down the road, and this is still my #1 favorite piece on Deviantart.
a combination of the soft lighting, warm colors, elegant cloths, and peaceful setting, built around a beautiful woman's unhurried pursuit of her study, of which her expression bespeaks some sedate enjoyment, is just... entrancing.

Imagine a world where people could study magic. It would be wonderful, but also dangerous as of right now. Β Β Because some could use it for crime and all that. But then again there are some people who would bring them to justice, but crime would always exist at the moment.

I feel warm just /looking/ at this, like I'm suffused by that gorgeous sunlight. I love the way it catches her hair and holy snap I am just utterly speechless toward this beauty.

This is one of my favorites on DA. The lighting is amazing and you really get a sense of time and warmth from the light glowing beyond the window. There is also a great sense of ease from the woman, that she is in a place where she is can focus on her studies. Excellent!
