And it all started. I decided that since I was a little out of practice with paintings, I'd paint something before I work on the prizes for Spinechilling Words. I've got to admit, water is really fun to paint. (:

Well, try to imagine a large pool of different coloured paint. Then imagine someone sat in it, multiple times. And then run it over by a semi-truck.

the water looks nice. the outlines on the duck might be a bit hard though.

I understand what you mean... it was more of a techniques thing for me. I painted the reflection before I painted the duck but it wasn't until I finished painting the duck that I realised the reflection was way too faded. I suppose if the reflection had been darker, then the outline wouldn't have been so hard? I'll definitely keep this in mind for next time.

i haven't painted traditionally in so long... apart from at school. i have all these watercolour paints sitting my room doing nothing D:

Haha yeah... my masking fluid is going to dry out soon if I don't start some serious painting sprees. ==" Well actually it isn't... there's still quite a lot of moisture left... but I'm painting heaps less nowadays due to homework. *sigh* What the school does to a person. =/
