yes, and in the manga, Aizawa's first sentence afterwards was: "How are we still alive?" instead of "I hope Ryuzaki's not dead." So selfish!
(dont ask me how i remembered that...)
i hated Light from the beginning. Even more so after he killed those FBI agents and Naomi (who's one of my fav characters..), but i began to UTTERLY DETEST him upon seeing the smug look on his face while L was dying....that was the last thing L saw, too......
God, remembering all that just made me depressed.

T_T no emotions. He truly was a psycho. i cant understand the people who support Light/Kira (im talking about the ones in rl) Why cant people see that he's nothing but a crazy serial killer? (i would use worse words, but well, you know, im being watched O.o)
cant say that i didnt enjoy his sticky end (that pro'bly makes me no better than him, but when its Light, who cares?)

yeah =< i was happy at the end of that haha, but Light was truly a dispicable character and even though he started out with good intentions he just went insane and became a killing machine over time

the turning point for me was when he killed all those FBI agents, and Naomi (and i LUV Naomi, so that made me especially angry)
but i just finished reading L, Change the World (the alternative continuity novel) and i like the way Soichiro Yagami put it at the end of the book. He had to tell Sayu and Sachiko that Light had been killed by Kira, and in a way, that's what he believed, too. Light would've lived a good life, maybe even fighting crime right alongside L, had he not picked up the Death Note. In a way, he was Kira's biggest victim.
i liked L, Change the World. It had a pretty philosophical plot. Only problem is, L died at the end of it anyway.

that's too bad, the book's really good (but then again, i shouln't talk since i havent seen the movie...)
i read the LA BB Murder Cases book too. That one was also awesome, but i didnt like how Beyond dressed up as L. For some odd reason, i could tell it was a fake almost as soon as Rue Ruyzaki appeared..... maybe im too much of an overly obsessed L fangirl.....
yeah, Light's death was so dramatic i actually felt sorry for him at the end...
