I have a friend at work my age (55) that does this. Not too many gals do any more. It's a dying art. Glad you're keeping it alive!

I learned by watching my grandmother & it's one way to keep her memory alive! I have a lot of her work & I love displaying it. It brings back so many great memories!

My mother-in-law is 89 and does a lot of crocheting and knitting. She volunteers at the hospital and has made hundreds of caps for newborns.
My wife loves family history and has rescued many of these hand-made treasures and framed them.

I love family history,too. Being an only child & grandchild I've tried to preserve all I can for my kids & grandkids. It makes me sad to see family treasures end up in antique stores instead of being kept in the family. I,too,try to display as many as I can.
