So... I'm assuming it's the ungodly heat that is California summers, but SOMETHING has been making me extra cranky for a while. I've been so whiny, bored, clingy... Sleepy, but also restless... I haven't known what to even do with myself. But I managed to whip up a cute doodle, so at least that was a nice little outlet...... I feel odd, not having to credit anyone for a base or a lineart. >.>

Oh? So all is needed for you to produce such a nice doodle is a bit of heat? (Susan´s most productive period = a Californian Summer!)
I´m not saying it often, but cranky Susan IS adorable. More of those please!
I have NO idea how hot Californian summers are, but it was 3 long weeks more than tropical here (96,8 F average, normal is 75,2 F: means: 36 C and 24 C.)
My solution to the heat was working at night, and sleeping during the day... No production stalls, but an overall feeling of being out of the ordinary.

Well, not quite. Normally, I get extra sluggish when it's this hot out. But I was feeling exceptionally grumpy on that day, and needed a way to keep myself from lashing out and whatnot. So, arts. Lol.
And to give you an idea of what it's like... For the last two months or so, we've been having consistent 100(F)+ days. Like, it's gotten as high as 111(F), and we're lucky if it gets down the mid 70's at night. ._. It's terrible.

Yeah, everybody gets cranky when those temperatures keep coming. It´s overheating your body and you can hardly cool off. 100-111(F) -(43,9 C) is beyond any fun.
I really hope you have an airco in CA, because here we don´t. When I woke up in the past afternoons I felt like I´ve been sleeping in a sweaty swimming pool.
I´m rendered useless when the temperature goes beyond 98,6(F)- 37(C) It was at least a bit windy over those days, today is the first day with a normal 76(F).
And I really hope it will stay that way. Summers THIS hot are not the summers I like. Keep your head cool, I won´t ask for more doodles although she´s really cute!
