isnt blockbuster sworn to have a copy of the latest release or else they sacrifice the first-born child of the assistant manager?either way, it was friday night and all through the greater vancouver area there was no pan's labyrinth to be had. but the douce of an employee had to suggest willow instead.
don't get me wrong, i love willow.
but it isnt pan's labyrinth.

I have some really cool anime on VHS too and I'm not keen on spending another $30 on DVDs for them, either...not until the tapes have gotten completely degraded, at least XD

Yeah, I do that to every customer, i tell them that we have a movie that they won't want, so they will laugh. i also used "Power Rangers", "Pokemon", "Strawberry Shortcake", and "Dora" as examples, but one day we had Willow in the drop box, and a person asked for Pan's Labyrinth, so i showed them Willow and said the same line as the picture... so i find this picture like a calling, that maybe i am not the only weird Blockbuster employee in the world.

heh thats exactly what happened, we asked for pan labyrinth and the guy went to check the drop box to see if it had been returned, and then came back up with willow instead.

Yikes, I would choke a bitch if I were you. I pre-ordered my copy only because I knew Vegas sucks just as bad when it comes to slightly more obscure movies. I know my friend Ang has been trying to find one for weeks and she can only find the really shitty non-special featured one on DVD at walmart. . . I don't know about renting, though. . . If you still haven't seen it, I would just reccomend buying it, because the movie really is THAT worth it. *clings to her copy*

god your face-drawing rocks. It makes me happy that our blockbuster DC looks like good ol' general beezley, the DC from Round Table, after a month or two without a haircut.

lol i do still own a vhs infact two of them. I never find a problem with local Blockbusters perhaps when im renting games which was a mistake.
This was eons ago when i was 12 and i really wanted to see the first Pokemon movie in the cinema but my dad was all like ¬¬ he said i think about it.....2 weeks later are ya gonna take me to see Pokemon or whut...he goes i know howabout you get a game from Blockbuster instead over seeing Pokemon m,e being the game junkie back then i agreed so i got a racing game which is similar to that of Crash Bandicoot Racing and noticed that the CD was scratched so from now i don't go and buy ganmes from Blockbusters just films which ridiculously overpriced and you can only return within like a day or so. If anything good came i did get the Pokemion movie annnnnd on VHS too!
This did give a good giggle i have never seen a blockbuster assistant so enthuiastic over a film XD!

I, personaly, haven't seen PL, but it looks good. But I do, in fact, own at least 4 VCRs and over 187 VHS copies of various movies. XD I am SO out of date!

This reminds me of the time I went to rent a copy of saiyuki requiem for my friend, and the dude in front of me was being a total asshole. He picked up his move and flung it at the worker and they litterally had to push him out of the building. But I got my movie, at least.
