You know Noodle kinda looks up to 2D and the rest of the band members as parental figures so i think Noodle doing this with 2D is kind of wrong also this is the phase of noodle where she is still under age, But at the end of the day i still got a chuckle out of this.

I think this is the Phase 3 Noodle where she's 21 years old, the details are in the hairstyle.
The artist draws Phase 2 Noodle with straighter and shorter locks compared to her Phase 3 counterpart, she's exclusively drawn with purple hair by the artist so it does tend to get confusing.
Come to think of it most people play out this ship like one those Japanese animes where a main female lead gets a crush on her oblivious older brother figure but then they get separated for a long time but meet later and she fallsΒ head over heels for him, a so or so meme.
I've seen it in Samurai X, Ero manga Sensei,Β Tsukihime, Oreimo, Deadman Wonderland, and Koi Kaze.
And of course 80% of the time its like: "aight dogs you and your sis weren't BLOOD RELATED! It's all good!"
Then the man blue haired anime protag goes:

Also word of warning. One of the guys who made Gorillaz also drew Tankgirl, a violent and raunchy series that had the main lead get in on with a mutant kangaroo...any thing can happen with a guy like that.
So I just tend to go along with shit, not expecting things to happen but also not being surprised when they do.
