What kind of brush do you use to get that painted look to your creatures? I love how soft and 3D it looks~

They're actually brushed I got from someone (collected over a while) and a mix of brushes from Kyle T Webster, from Gumroad.

I think it might be or be close to the default chalk brush in photoshop. It might be something else but I don't see very much texture in it
