Yet another in my series of hopeful Smash Bros. characters. This time, I tackled the precious Pokemon pair Plusle and Minun. I chose to do a moveset for Plusle and Minun because, aside from Deoxys, who has already been said by numerous Smash Fans, they seem to be the most popular among the Ruby/Sapphire Pokemon that also fit the criteria for a playble Smash Bros. Pokemon(At least partially bipedal, has both arms AND legs, non legendary).Plusle and Minun fight as a team, like the Ice Climbers in Suuper Smash Bros. Melee. You control one directly, and the computer controls the other along side you based on how you're using the one. The have a variety of electric attacks, but play very differently from Pikachu and Pichu.

So wish this were true. Actually, there should be a devoted Super Smash Bros. Pokemon Edition. No other Big N game has near the volume of potential Smash characters for a fighter, and with all the ideas that both fans and creators have, this could easily accomplished. Where there's a will, there's a way.

however, i feel like their neutral B should be somerthing different than pikachus thunder jolt... maybe thunder wave, like mewtwo's disable. a stun.... hmmmm

and since teh release date was already changed a few times he had to delete some characters
and these where dixie,plusle and minun and 2 other
he deletde them from the disk... but still some data remained...
so thats how we found out who

They would make awsome pokemon reps!! But unfortunately if they were in, people would bitch because of all the "There are too much pokemon to be in Brawl!!". Dude all we're asking is just a few. I think that Lucario should be in and Mewtwo should make a comeback.

On the moves, I don't agree that much, as they lack a bit of sticking to the PokΓ©mon games and alternate media. B and Up + B sound good effect-wise, I must admit

Yeah, I know... Ganondorf/Falcon is really the only good example, though. Fox and Falco, on the other hand, are very close to indistinguishable. Slight differences in power and speed, that's it... I don't mind, clones, really, and I do wish people wouldn't complain about them; it's just that I really wish they'd had the time to give them all unique movesets.

I have to disagree on that one. I find Falco to be quite a bit sturdier than Fox and a little faster. And his Midair Down A seems to pack more punch.
As for repetitive characters, Dr. Mario. First off, Dr. Mario IS Mario, just wearing different clothes. If he's even in Brawl at all, it should be as a costume change for Mario (as Daisy and Blood Falcon were for Peach and C. Falcon in Melee)

A great idea! I've also thought Espeon and Umbreon would make a good duo, with the slight problem that they're both quadrupedal. But then, technically Pikachu moves on all fours and holds stuff in his mouth, and Espy at least could use psychic powers to hold stuff like Mewtwo does... heh. Anyway, I like this!
As for Pichu, I love him. But you're right, the clone characters were a pretty dumb idea. I mean, Captain Falcon and Ganondorf are the exact same character, and they're not even from the same series. Why couldn't they have given G-dorf his sword or something? Ah, well. Time crunches suck, but the game is still fun anyway.

Oh a clone debate! LOL I love to hate these! I don't mind the similar moves, as long as the characters strengths and such are different. Ganon's way slow but way stronger than Falcon. And he does change up the move. Warlock Punch is far superior to Falcon Punch.

I say they add in these guys, and take out Pichu. I always felt that Pikachu AND Pichu was repetitive, and a waste of a character. Unless of course, they implemented an evolution mechanic or s/t, so that you might start as Pichu, but by the end of the battle, depending on how much damage youve dished out, you could become Pikachu or even Raichu.
Regardless of my ramblings. This is an awesome pic, and a great idea. Keep em coming!

And as for Pichu, I like the lil' guy! He's fun to use because when you win, your opponent always says, without fail "Oh man! How could I lose to Pichu!?" Plus, the term "waste of character" always kinda got to me. It's not there's a set limit of characters that can be in a game, right?

Well, no, I guess there isnt a set number of characters for the game. But I just found Pichu repetitive since Pikachu is already there, and I always felt that there was no sense in having two characters with basically the same moves and look almost exactly alike. I also felt that Marth AND Roy was pointless for the record.

Well, I will admit they could have tried to vary the moves a little more, but they were on a tight schedual. They didn't even have time to put Snake in, and he's had to wait like 6 years to be in Smash Bros...
