Another shot of my Kaylee costume. I want to keep from spamming my gallery with every cosplay photo I have (I use my Cosplay.com account for that), but this was just SUCH a pretty photo that I couldn't help it. I wish I could look this cute every day.

When I saw the thumbnail, I had first thought this was a picture of Jewel Staite as Kaylee.

For this costume, I actually deferred to a site with a how-to! [link]
I found the jumpsuit pretty hard to find, but after cruising a lot of Army-Navy Surplus stores I was able to find one. I got both the heart and flower patches from my local Joann Fabric's, but the bear one is a little trickier. The site this webmaster has listed, Poplollies, isn't running anymore, so I'm not sure where to get it now. Although an eBay search might still work, and the bulk ordering option worked last time I checked.

I found the coveralls after trolling around all sorts of Army Navy Surplus stores on the internet. Because all of those things are used, I'm not sure of which site I found them at or even if they'd be available. My recommendation is to find a local Army Navy store and hit them up. They're usually full of surprises.

Thank you!! And I found it at an online Army-Navy Surplus store. I talked to a few other Kaylee cosplayers I met at Connecticon, and apparently olive drab jumpsuits are hard to come by. O.o

My best friend, (and Browncoat) is a huge Kaylee fan, and wants one. I wouldn't mind having one either, cause I have a Chinese shirt that looks just like the one she wears, so it'd be cool to complete an outfit. I just put together a Mal outfit, with the angle that I'm Mal's wife (from a fanfiction of mine).
