Physical appearance: Dekuu is a rather small Lion who has a hunched back and back pain, His eyes are red and his pelt is dark chocolate brown with a lighter underbelly and mane.

Note: He is not a dwarf by any means just small.

Personality -

Positive Traits

Warm: Dekuu is a very warm Lion who has love for everyone and will never turn a cold shoulder to anyone or anything no matter how he’s treated, Dekuu believes that everyone deserves love and if they’re being a bully/abusive that just means they need more love than most.

Humble: Dekuu is not one to brag or put on a show he’s a humble lion who enjoys being on the sidelines and out of view of the crowd, Dekuu enjoys watching friends and family be praised and loved and would rather let them take the praise for a job well done even if he did the work feeling that friends and family are most important.

Hidden Positive trait -

Brave: Dekuu can be very brave but he himself does not know this about himself, He only knows he’d die for friends and family however he does not know he’d fight to keep them safe if that’s the last option on the table.

Negative Traits -

Insecure: Dekuu is very insecure and will bow and bend to anyone stronger than him, He can never hold his ground and breaks when he’s cornered and feels he can’t fight back against anyone in fear of being hated or exiled. This can go as far as being someones plaything for their abusive behavior.

Oblivious: As said above Dekuu sees the good in everyone, Even if it’s not there to begin with, this has caused him to be hurt more than once and can never seem to see the bad in anyone, feeling that No one can honestly be a bad person and that everyone is truly good.

History:

Dekuu was born to two rogues and was hated by his mother for being a small weak cub and thus was named Dekuu meaning “Useless” As she saw no value in him at all and only fed him due to her mate’s insistence and pleading, However once he was weened from her she started to call him very harsh things and abused him, His father would try to stop the abuse only to be attacked for it.
On that token Dekuu grew to be a very weak, timid and submissive male who obeyed his mother’s every command as best as he could and pleaded with his father for help, the Best his father could offer comfort and guidance seeing he too was scared of her. As he aged the Abuse his mother put him through got worse and worse, Getting to the point where she once tried to make his already weak back snap on him so he would die. That was the last straw for his father as he snapped and attacked his mate, Killing her to protect his only
Cub, however he was too late on the emotional front, the damage had already been done, However the harm to his body started to heal and recover as best as it could, Once he could walk better and eat properly, However his father was getting old and having a hard time feeding his Disabled son and started to search for someone, anyone to take him. Dekuu pleaded for his father to not give him up but His father put his paw down and once they both found the tree of life his father left him, hoping and praying he did the right thing, Once His Father left, Dekuu was as lost as a cub without a parent and would start to go further down the emotional rabbit hole, He was looked after by the pride he was left in and he slowly grew to call the Usiku pride home.

Important: Dekuu has a hunch back and suffers from back pain/weakness and digestive tract issues(Ie: Acid reflex and, heartburn) He can not run very fast or hunt for himself. He relies on the Pride to keep him fed and dose not believe he can fight due to his disability
