I am Eve and Lilith is my Sister and my friend. She has always been there for me, through the confusion, through the pain of childbirth, and in the losses I have faced in my life. I love my husband Adam, but I was also built to love him, and it is that part of me that is resentful. Lilith helps me with that. I have born sons and daughters, watched them grow and watched some of them die. I have learned what mortality is and understand that I am a mortal being as well. My strength and comfort comes from the sisterhood I share with Lilith….the animals still see her as Lady of the Garden, and so do I. For what I have been given I am grateful, and for the Knowledge I have gained by knowing Her I am grateful. I am her sister and I would die for her. I am Eve, and my existance as a mortal has made me Humble.
