Nice. I like the whole scene but the wings stand out to me the most. Well drawn.

Thank you! I was hoping to echo the birthstone of turquoise with them.

Hi there,
I decided to feature a few pieces of my βpersonal favβ folder, that were created with my stock photos and this is one of them. Have a look at the other works if you like: [link]

This is so gorgeous. I love angels, and you draw them so well! I love the wings especially and the candles.

we'll see - since I'm currently out of new ideas with Liz anyway (and her ego has become too big to bear do to her playing my stock-model XD) we might just re-do a whole bunch of old pics ^^

Wings are really nice. The draping of the fabric is really nice too! Over all a lovely piece. Sorry my brain doesn't seem to want to cooperate and produce more articulated thoughts. I just wanted to let you know I thought this was a well done piece.

An beautiful dedication, your mom must be so happy. I like the compositional look to the one wing up helping to frame the background design. Great work.

I really like this. Very beautiful. I like the traditional Christmas headpiece. I think your girl's face is much prettier than the model she was based on!
I also really like the background. It looks almost Celtic.
What was your medium?

It reminds me of something on an old tarot card.
Actually, I'm playing Fable II now and it reminds me a lot of some of that art. I love it!

I'm a huge fan of tarot so I'm quite flattered by the comparison. I'm still pondering making my own set.
Ohh I've heard so much about Fable 2. I can only hope it's much better than the first, but the art was always fabulous for both.

Yeah. I'm about halfway through, I think, and it's definitely taken me longer than the first game, which took me a total of 10 hours, I think. Way too short.

I'd die without mine. This sounds pathetic, but I went to visit my dad for five days and hauled it cross-country. It's kind of okay because he played it more than I did.

I also want to mention that I like that you didn't stick with "traditional" Christmas colors. Yes, her shawl is red and green, and the darker variants of the colors, which I appreciate so much more than their more vibrant and somewhat loud counterparts. You also use a lot of blue, which not only do I LOVE, but it really feels winter-y because of it, and you get the feeling of turquoise.
