That's so cool that you're working on a graphic novel. I'm currently working on mine as well.
Or more specifically a light novel actually. I do plan on also doing the graphic novel version as well.
So this must be the character of your avatar there. She really does look interesting. Well I'll begin my
interpretation now. here goes...^^
Jade immediately struck me as a seductress. Her horns, wings and tail certainly gives me the impression
that she could be a sort of dragoness. ...Oh, I just noticed the tag just now. It turns out she really is. Hehe. XD
Red and green are interesting choice colors. Her outfit has that cooler shade of green that reminded me of a certain
vegetable or fruit, I can't remember the name of it, but it comes in a jar of that color with something red in the middle.
Darn...I can't remember. XD Anyway, she strikes me as being laid back, flirtatious, and perhaps even magical. Perhaps,
she's capable of transformation. In the fantasy world, anything is possible after all. Overall she's a very interesting and visually
attractive looking character. very well done.

Fantasy is also one of my favorite genres next to science fiction. I'm working on a story that
has both combination of genres. What I love about fantasy is how liberating it allows our imagination
to really sore and explore without any boundaries. It also provides many deep visual metaphors that
explores many existing themes and sentiments that few words could ever describe them. Aw I wish I had
Β finances, but unfortunately, I'm a poor artist myself. I wish it were possible to turn DA points into
finance here on DA. That would be cool. Are you planning to publish your graphic novel one day? Or is
it exclusive online? I wish you the best with your graphic novel.

You are very perceptive of her personality. I feel as I did a good job of portraying her if you can get so much about her so accurately.
Perhaps you should try Patreon for some funding. That's how I'm working on funding my graphic novel. It will start out online, but I do hope to print it someday too. Mine is mostly in the writing and concept art phase right now. Best of luck with your graphic novel as well.

Ah Olive! Yes! That's the name I was trying to remember! XD
Thanks. yes you did an excellent job portraying her. You visually
communicated who she is, and that's where I take a moment to
read the visual familarities. It's like reading a stop sign on the road.
Colors and forms and even the letters of the alphabet are all visual
communications. It's pretty interesting stuff.
I've been thinking about it for a good while. What made me hesitate, was
that I needed to be consistent in working on this project. I haven't been consistent
in the drawing aspect. Allot of things in my life tends to interfere with my creative
activity. It's a long story, but I'm currently fighting this for years to come out of this rut.
Probably the easiest thing I can do is my writing. I thought maybe I can start it off as a light
novel with some illustrations in it, and hopefully by then, adopt the graphic novel afterwards.
I think that's how I'll do it. Getting back into drawing has been a real long struggle for me.
Years back I used to draw everyday, regardless, but now a days, I can't seem to keep focus
for very long, and I get easily distracted too. I don't even have my own room where I can be alone.
But, I'm striving to get back into it somehow. It hasn't been easy for me, but what kept me going
was being active here online connecting with you and many fellow artist here. So I still have a fighting
chance at the very least. ^^ I am determined to give it my best though.

I have gone through long dry spells of not drawing as well. The writing comes much easier, but I don't want someone else to draw it for me. I have a way I can visualize the story in my head and I just have to develop my skills to the level I can see it.
