I made this dress in a few weeks on a whim. I wanted to make something simple but with a lot of contrast, and Merida came to mind! Though I'm not the biggest fan of the movie, I adore Merida as a character and her design is just a delight! I had a lot of fun making this, it was a very easy, satisfying project (and is super comfy!)The dress is dark green wool, the ruffles and such are cream chiffon. The wig is four cheap, ebay wigs sewn together.

I've seen your step-by-step tutorial of this cosplay on wordpress... and I absolutely love it! I've been wanting to cosplay Merida for quite some time now.
I don't remember if you said anything about this in the tutorial, but what type of fabric did you use for the dress (including the white "ruffles" in the sleeves)?
