Happy very belated Valentines day!This is my Valentines gift for also known as
It's...lame. I know, I didn't actually draw you Abbi. I'm sorry. Have some chocolate. T_T
It's an attempt at me, though I look nothing like that orz" I'm getting my hair cut so I have a fringe again though. My hair's roughly that length...but darker. Oh and those are my horrible horrible clothes XD minus the headphones and inner shirt.
I had a lot of trouble with the hands and pose in general. I tried out a few poses myself to figure out a good way of doing it...
This is my first time trying to emulate watercolour using an art program. I'm awful at watercolour in real life though, where there's no undo button (ha).

First thing I have to say is that I love the colours on this piece. I think they really draw in an audience because they're so calm and light, which compliments the mood of the picture nicely as it's meant to be happy and loving. So well done on that part!!!
Although the shading is simple, it's really effective and you did well with creating a traditional feel. The background isn't complex, but it doesn't have to be because the whole atmosphere of the image is beautiful and peaceful as it is.
The only advice I'd give would be... Less transparency of the colouring- it's a bit scary to see the background through someone's body! And the texture is slightly too sharp in places- I see you were trying to create a watercolour effect, but the texture of the paper doesn't tend to show through so harshly with traditional watercolouring.
But overall- It's just beautiful, and really did hit me and make me squee!
