Description Where is the beauty in a person who achieves with that quiet ability we keep to ourselves?

Deranged, she exchanged her soul for mortal things.
Nothing of her true self remains,
Only shadows off the lives to which she clings.
A social and emotional impedent,
Black, chipped nails claw at those ungaurded hearts,
Those pure souls,
The forgiving and the fragile.

But to one they didn't.
One scarred with memories of unholy people,
Cursed with a third eye that draws the truth of people to the forfront.
Cursed with the inabilty to trust.

Where is the beauty in a person who cannot love?

wow. thanks people here aren't generally interested in poetry so i've only submitted one. It is intended to let someone know that i would appreciate it if she would stay the hell away from me and the people i'm close to.

Honestly i dont often read on DA...even if I adore poetry, i just tend to get a bite lazy XD I should nto because i'm sure i'm missing great work! I wonder what she did to you, but i'm sure the poetry made its point Very nice work!
