I'm not sure if it's the tree that's on drugs or me when I look at this picture.
I think the picture is ok. You can really do some good and funny things with photomanipulation. Personally I wouldn't have chosen it to be a DD though. Even though it's nice. It's just too simple or one-layered and not over average from a technical point of view. Ah well ^^. I congratulate you anyway! You did good after all.

like the idea, and colors and all, but i would have to say the execution isn't quite 100%. the foreground is very flat, and the horizon should probably be a lot sharper. and i guess this is a composisiton thing, but the tree overlapping of that powerful cloud and the tree doesnt work for me. they are similar shapes, but i think i think they clash. i do like the color of the sky though. well anyways congrats on the DD. i'll be checking out your gallery.

that's really awesome! you could easily submit that to contests. Smithsonian Mag has a contest and last year, they had a photo-manip category. btw, what program did you use to do that? photoshop? because that's some amazing technique you used there to make it seem convincingly realistic.
