Description Mae Borowski from the game Night In The Woods. It's really difficult to draw her without the baseball bat. I tried
Fun fact: I had an aunt named Borowski.

Fascinating result -I know it says airbrushing ... so was this an airbrush effect you used?

Thank you . General thought: The default categories need an overhaul I believe . I mean it's kind of strange to describe digital painting as airbrushing even when using brushes that simulate the airbrush effect... following it, you should have categories like digital watercolor and digital oil painting and digital pencil drawing and digital mixed media. Weird naming convention is what it is

To the point: I used Kyle Webster's brushes. Deliciously Dry Brush from the Inkbox set for the line, Hatchy for shading and Weirdness for coloring (both from the Concept Brushes set). And a paper texture for the background (I use textures.com for resources like this). Some of the color is on Overlay layers and the whole thing was run through a Sharpen More filter.

Have you played the game by the way?

Ah I see, thanks I was curious what technique was simulated because I thought it looked familiar but I wasnt entirely sure what it was. But since I know you are a digital artist, I was pretty sure it was a digital work again ^^

Thanks for the details ... it sounds fascinating and I wish I would draw again some time soon, digitally too, so I could explore some of those things as well.

Naw, I've never played the game, tbh ... didnt even know it I still need to play so many games and never had time/money/good enough pc for it. So much to catch up with Ā

It only just came out and it's an indie game. I don't think it requires a lot of PC power, since it's basically a 2D scroller with fairly simple (but beautiful) graphics. Not very expensive either. But boy is it good IĀ  recommend it wholeheartedly

Oh wow, indie games ...indie games are always support worthy. And I guess that sounds old-fashioned ...but sometimesIlove the good old 2D stuff
