This was primarily inspired by the photoshoots for her recent album, although I personally draw inspiration from her in many ways as an artist. I still remember when I bought her second album, A Girl Like Me back in '06, got home to lock myself up in my room to dance to her songs, full blast on my stereo, and ever since then I've just been hooked by the tremendous talent she is. Recently, Riri gave a speech for a fashion and design school in New York. In it she talks about the youth of today, expressing how younger generations work so hard, and ought to be embraced & supported more for all the things that they do.
