Zen Home Decorating

Natalia, is an interior decorator. She's creating a web site to reflect this. When she called me for a photo-shoot consult, she asked how can she best convey her sense of interior decorating to the viewer. [link] This is her website. The photos were taken by me.

I suggested she emphasize the Japanese Zen Garden aspect of it. Her creations are much like the concepts found in many Japanese homes. Such homes erase the distinction between outside and inside. It's not nature against man, but a harmony between them. A home in harmony with nature is also nature in harmony with the home.
