Are you going to color the skin? Interesting work.

Color the skin? No. However, the uncensored version will have the white parts removed, if that is what you are thinking about.

Ah so it's clear now the events of 147-151 are actually taking place at two separate times. Kodachi's narration and explanation and scenes with her and Ryoga are taking place in the present while the actual murders and now the reveal with Kuno are taking place a bit in the future. That makes sense. Same with getting Kuno to do these deeds as yeah Kodachi probably just said "yeah go nuts on the harem girls if you want I don't care. Anyway here's a job I need doing." You do have to wonder if this will be a learning experience for Kodachi though since it's clear from not firing she knows enough to want Ryoga around but she should also know if that's the case she should be getting him jobs he'd you know actually do instead of this "oh go sneak around and kill children at night" kind of stuff. Have to say also like Kodachi's anger with the gun and reveal of Kuno having done the deed so yeah good work there.

Glad you liked how I handled those pages.
Kodachi not only doesn't trust Ryoga anymore, she doesn't even LIKE him! However, it seems she needs him for something.

I kind of thought she didn't trust or like him anyway and was just using him and it was just her lusting for power/probably being drunk that made her want to make a move on him.

Ah how the honorable have fallen.... Kuno is capable of killing. But usually it would have to be spun as an action appealing to his admittedly bent Samurai code of honor. On the other hand following the orders of one's lord would come under that heading. So maybe it isn't that far of a reach. His new black skin tone would be a benefit in that regard.
Ryogo is fortunate that Kodachi still has a need for him … for now. He's also not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even he has to realize he's on thin ice here. Kodachi has all but said she has an assassin, assuming he heard. If he did, then the question becomes can he figure out who?
To be honest, I initially suspected one of her pets (old, current or new) was responsible. They would tend to follow orders without question or qualm. It would have also given a potential indication of how deep their conditioning goes if it were able to overwrite their initial morality.

This version of Kuno is definitely way more evil than the original, that's for sure. How honorable he was in the first place is debatable.
Ryoga is naive. He assumes that by refusing the killing won't happen.
You were the first to suspect another presence, rather than Ryoga. Good call on that point!

sending her own older brother... no wonder ryoga refuses to do the murdering work. at least there's nothing happens to ami and the others while ami herself reminded kuno of you know who

As mentioned previously, Kuno is much more loyal to Kodachi than Ryoga, and therefore should have been Kodachi's first choice for the assassination.
However, because she didn't straight up kill Ryoga, I could assume that she may still regard Ryoga as useful with regards to her plans. But what kind of use would she have for someone who wouldn't even dream of killing a person in cold blood?

Kodachi may have been angling to secure Ryoga's loyalty more thoroughly. He is the only one on Team Kodachi that has his own agenda. Try to bring him deeper into her camp.
And yes. She definitely has a use for Ryoga. One unique to him.

Does Kodachi lack the nerve to murder? Only time will tell. She certainly doesn't have any ethical reservations
