I'm starting to believe the pastels are stronger than colored pencils for doing tones of wrinkles and textures of the face, now that I have seen your gallery. I need to make better black and white portraits before I move to another medium, but I will definitely give pastels a try since they seem to really pop in yours and I'm already accustomed to pastel landscapes. Your drawings are excellent
