Holy moly where do I even began. You really did make the original picture your own. there is so much that I love about this picture,from the glowing fish, to beautiful water effects on the hair, and not to mention all the little details you put into this picture to make it unique. Such as the eyebrows, I love that the eyebrows are also water, that kind of small consistency is impressive and stylish. Something I would have never considered doing. I would maybe put some sort of shading on the left side of the body though, theres no kind of border and it kind of makes it feel, I dont know, a bit off. Besides that everything else about this picture is downright amazing, keep it up.

You certainly did take someone's idea and make it all your own. I can tell from your gallery set that you have made digitally drawing portraits kind of your thing and it is wonderful to see what you are able to come up with.
I know it is a pain to eliminate the cell-shading of the original piece to give it a more realistic feel. I really do envy you line art ability. Polished perfection. The closest I have been able to achieve the fluid overlapping that you have was in this piece of Maria Butina ( www.newgrounds.com/art/view/ad… ) but even then my art can not compare to how you presented the goldfish on the right to seemingly ease around her without touching. A wonderful balance of depth and proportion. I even love her freckles. I think I would have made her bust bigger though. I don't know, you left room to show her leg and I would not have wasted the effort, I would have just filled the canvas with her breasts and have the world envy her face and all. I am sure it takes a special kind of care to treat those liquid eyebrows.
