The Photonids themselves, for thousands of years lived in harmony and order, for a thousand years they developed and for thousands of years they venerated and worshiped their sun The Light Bringer who gave them life, power and incredible abilities.
All this happened for many years, but in recent years the sun began to go out, the aliens began to weaken, get sick, and the oldest, those who have lived for more than one hundred years, to die. Eventually, the great planetarium congress was assembled and it was decided to look for a new source of light. All the forces of Photonis were launched into this search, and soon a new planet suitable for life was found.
The last year, hasn`t been easy for the Photonids. They were going to go to the new Photonis. Those who died in the last year were buried. In addition, the so-called half-breeds were left on the planet, Photonids whose blood was mixed with another race as the fruit of the Photonid's love and someone else`s. The pureblood themselves consider it humiliating therefore, marriages, unions or a simple manifestation of love for other races are punishable by exile or slavery.
After the preparation, the whole planet was ready to set off on a journey to a new home. Whole fleet of spaceships, in which there was still enough energy to make a hyperspace jump to desired goal. Several of these spaceships were prisons carrying those who dared to go against the law.
During the hyperspace jump one of the three prisons deviated from the course, the spaceship arrived in another part of the universe where it was already awaited. The prison staff didn`t know what was happening, but they were ready for anything.
The Gazgors fierce space mercenaries attacked the prison spaceship. They knew perfectly well, what they were attacking and were well prepared. As it turned out, one of the prisoners, an influential alien named Gvarp, bribed one of the guards, and he, unnoticed by others, changed the course of the spaceship, sending the prison straight into the trap.
The prison was attacked immediately. An energy volley hit straight into the place where the control room was located, and thereby damaging the control of the prison energy barriers, absolutely all the cells with prisoners opened and chaos began on the spaceship.
One of the prisoners, a young soldier named Alaain Arber, served as an officer in the Photonis army. He was holding back the half-blood riot and was ordered from above to open fire to kill. However, he disobeyed and fled. Alaain was later caught and sentenced to 10 years in a Photonid`s colony as a deserter.
However, when the cells opened, Alaain came out; instead of helping his own people, he decided to flee from there. After other Photonids treated him this way, gave him an impossible order, and later sentenced him to 10 years for failure to comply with the order. Alaain couldn`t forgive them for this. He no longer considered himself part of this narcissistic and selfish race.
Alaain, with a fight began to make his way to the Rescue module and after a while, a small capsule flew out of the prison cruiser, but was immediately noticed. One of the guards opened fire just as Alaain activated the hyperspace jump. The module was hit, but still managed to be transported to another place. Alaain moved to an unknown galaxy, where he immediately fell under the influence of the gravity of one of the planets.

Helen Riley was a young woman who lived in a small country house. She didn`t have a husband and children yet, but she had a wonderful job as a nurse. Every morning the woman got ready, got into her pickup truck and left for the
neighboring town where she worked. She had a completely ordinary monotonous life until one day an incident changed this.
One night, Helen woke up from a terrible roar: everything was shaking, including her bed. The woman turned on the light, but it was blinking. Jumping off her bed in horror, Helen grabbed a flashlight and, only in her nightie, ran out of the house. Looking up in the starry sky, she saw a light that swept over her house at a swift speed and landed with a loud crash in a small forest plantation. Soon the shaking stopped.
Helen got scared, but nothing conquers fear like interest and a desire for adventure. She ran into the house, quickly dressed, grabbed her father's old rifle, and ran towards the trees.
Whatever fell, it left behind a deeply dug furrow in the ground and a pile of broken trees. Helen ran along the trail, and eventually stumbled upon something. Whatever it was, it flew from space. The space object seemed to have been some kind of transport, outwardly looked like a huge egg in size slightly larger than the Helen pickup truck, lamps were blinking around and smoke was coming out. The woman grabbed the rifle more firmly. She gathered her strength, and went to the module, after which she knocked on the hull with the butt of a weapon, and after a moment, the egg-like capsule opened.

Comments by Helen Riley: «The capsule opened and there was a person inside I brought the lantern closer to get a better look at it. This was a fair-skinned man with blonde hair and golden eyes. He was injured and needed help. As soon as I got close, he grabbed my flashlight and brought it closer to himself. I have never seen this! When the man brought my flashlight to his shoulder wound, it immediately began to heal literally before my eyes!»

Helen helped the stranger to get up. She took him to her home, began to heal and care for him. That`s how they met.
Helen and Alaain fell in love. They began to live together and a few years later they had a son, Andrew. At the age of 6, Andrew went to school. It was later revealed that their son also had superpowers.
Alaain began to train Andrew on how to use his own powers, create light barriers, platforms, and emit blinding light. Andrew even learned to fly.
After a few years, Alaain got used to life on Earth. He learned the language and got used to the Earth's sun despite the fact that it was weaker than his native one. He was happy to be here. Andrew grew up, went to third grade. What about Helen...? Helen has a family that she couldn`t even dream of.

They knew that Al was hiding here, and when my husband showed up, the aliens stated that a dozen more years were added to the escape that Al had made. Powers and abilities

As a semi-Photonid, Andrew has abilities similar to his father and other members of this race. Riley's powers are directly dependent on light. Starlight is capable of absorbing light from any kind of source, be it natural, or artificial one. If a pureblooded Photonid is deprived of light for several days, for example, by locking him in a completely dark room, his powers will run out, the alien will be weakened, and eventually he'll die. Unlike purebloods, Riley is able to do without light for much longer. He can weaken, but he isn't threatened with death.
