The focus in this piece is what I really love. The sharpness of the patterns in the sand coming out in the middle of the photo instead of the foreground, as most do, is really original. And the light bleeding around the edges of the pilings at the end of the wharf, the way it distorts the shape of them...fantastique! Really lovely shot.
