I can see what you're trying to do with the blur (put the focus on the beautiful lace), but I'd enjoy the picture much more if it wasn't there, or used more sparingly.

Well, haha, like I didn't know this retort was undoubtedly coming. I love you. It's just too funny, really. Regarding the deviations in question: the image IS blurry, and in my opinion, a mess, plain as day. I'm not sorry to offend you, as people take things how they want to take them. I can't change a persons disposition to criticism. Bluntness is not the same thing as rudeness, although they often go hand in hand, I could concede. On the whole, I completely credited the fact that it is a very nice concept, and would be a beautiful image, or series for that matter. And hey, do what you must as, regardless of my personal galleries state; the lack of active updates to it, much less it's current quality as a result, I still know a blurry image when I see one. I just could not contain myself, in stating the obvious. I truly must curb the monster in me. I've made and appreciated enough images to also consider details and on occasion deduce when lighting in an image seems mediocre to me, or less that what your level of skill would no doubt sanction. If the client truly requested these things, I stand corrected, while at the same time, aghast, which my jaw slightly open, trying to understand why anyone would request such a thing. But then, I am just the lowly amateur.
The thing I love though, is how you are so pessimistic--perhaps after any number of other outbursts and inevitably swarms of negative comments you've noticeably exchanged over your tenure here...but hey I'm no judge of your character, but from an average watchers perspective, seems like you can't seem to contain or handle any form of criticism very well, as instead of shrugging it off, you seem to instead latch on to any comment that you deem offensive, and reciprocate in kind. At least, that's been my perspective. Anyway, to save myself from becoming obnoxiously offensive, as I don't wish to offend the greater masses, I will just concede that you are in the right, of course: naturally the pictures were perfection, and the one primarily, sharp as a whistle. And I had no right to speak my mind's thoughts. I am terribly sorry for my lack of recognition of your superior imaging skills. I don't need to wish you good luck in future endeavors, as it's clear they can't be improved upon, and have no need to be commented upon in a critical nature.
Oh, P.S.: I may have been inclined to retort with with a kinder version of this statement, explaining my thoughts in a less of a critical manner, and more within the boundaries of good will and general DA friendship.
Yet, the fact that you closed my other account to being allowed to comment on yours, before I actually had a chance to reply, naturally changes my stance on not being a suitable judge of you, or at least an impartial member of the jury. So I digress...there are much better things to do with both our time I'm sure.
But to my above-noted thoughts; a summary: You are a very talented photographer, albeit a cowardly one in conversation, Andrew. Please extend your inclination to remove my commenting ability, to this account as well. I certainly have had my fill of you as well. Far more friendly waters, and greater still, inspiration assuredly, elsewhere on DA.
Cheers.

Lady Wiglet, in reality, there was no 'evading' of any block, nor is there any rule of such fashion to break.
I have 2 deviantART accounts, both are used regularly, and both 'had' the photographer on their watch list. Note, past tense.
Nonetheless, thank you kindly, for the lecture. Have a wonderful summer.
Cheers.

no, i think you'll find if someone blocks you, it is against dA rules to contact the blocker using an alternate account, regardless of whether you have him on your watch or not.
THAT was a lecture.

the image is 'blurry' - what a fantastic critic with an undoubted understanding of the photographic lexicon you are.
All hail you perception and ego.

The Anastasiya photo also seemed to lack the significant quality of other works in your gallery; the lighting seemed...off. Anyway, interesting concept, if it wasn't such a blurry mess. Perhaps this is this your new form of watermark?

in fact the more I read, the more it is just plain offensive and rude a comment it is - you are obviously trying to make a point and I'm not sure why you want to. I could comment on some of your works in a blunt manner, but never would......do you have Aspergers or something?
