I was honored to draw this "Madman and The Atomics" pinup for Michael Allredβ and Laura, AND they were kind enough to allow me too offer it as a print in the OOSA store here:outofsteparts.bigcartel.com/caβ¦
With the exception of the squiggle ones, all the tags are my friends or things I am a fan of. Some are bands I've been in, some are my buddies' comics, some are publishers I love, etc. Ralph's is a diner/bar we used to play at in Worcester, MA when I was in a teenager. #memories

meh. They were what they were. Everything feels dated eventually. We're too hard on them.

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. I mean the 90's brought us things like Hellboy, the Mask, Ghost & Madman, not to mention the whole Vertigo line & series like Sandman & Lucifer & even at Image, you had groundbreaking stuff like 1963 by Alan Moore! Not to mention all the great stuff by Alex Ross, such as Marvels, Kingdom Come & Astro City. And outside of superhero comics, you not only had amazing things like Bone, but also the rise of Japanese manga. All in all, far from being "the dark age of comics" the 90's could have very well been comicdoms finest hour.

This is great!It's got that whole punk rock vibe, but you've still got all the togetherness that makes the guys so endearing. I especially love Joe playing guess who with Luna. Excellent work!

Can't get enough of this. It fits in so well with the whole Madman "ethos". Really beautiful 80's throwback feel to it as well. Pizza skirt!
