Messy isn't always a bad thing! It can add to expression, make the piece more unique. Not always, of course, but in this case, I don't look at this image and think "Oh dear this needs tidying up!." because it is what it is. There is a rawness and emotion to it that would be missing if it was too clean and shiny. I really like this.
