Here's an illustration of a character from a project of mine.. Trying to step up a couple of things here such as the background, the detailing etc.. I really have to start using different poses/lighting, otherwise this is like the fourth directly to the camera facing, front lighting thing in my gallery.. -_-

He looks great too! You've just got some really great dynamic expressions coming from the birds that I can't help but notice. They are a perfect addition to the picture and I think some exploration into that subject could have some cool results.
