Yay for calloused fore-fingers! Yes, I did indeed attempt CG colouring with a mouse.This is a new, random character. She still needs a name, but I'm suffering from extreme mental-blockage at the moment. Therefore, feel free to call her whatever you want XD.
Media:
- Fineliner (natural media) for lineart.
- Colouring in PS Elements and openCanvas. Bah, MS Paint would have done the job.

Somehow, this picture reminds me of Final Fantasy IX. A cross between Zidane and ... Yuffie?! She looks tougher than Beatrix to me. Hoho...
I knew you could CG anime style. Now that you've tried, it has proved very well done. You can do anything if you try, right?

Actually, I didn't like the cell-shading style really .. It's too neat, and the shadow shapes literally need to be planned out. Which proves for a very tedious job.

But seriously, Beatrix looks... overly well-endowed, whereas your character looks actually capable of killing with her glare. Of course, being nice is also what's part of this...

Well, I'm sure it would have looked ten times better if you'd done the background in the end 
It surprises me that quite a few people (including my sisters) have said this was their favourite so far as well. I myself didn't like it very much x__x
Ah. There will most likely be more similarly coloured pieces to come - as long as I don't have any other choices for CG colouring, looks like I'll just have to put up with it. .. *dies*

I'd drawn the gloves first, with the intentions of drawing an original chibi character who uses scrolls as clubs (yes, scrolls >_<

nah, i'd prefer this sketch over any chibi any day! ^_^ it looks cool and (in a way) cute (the face and the pose) and those graceful looking eyes will be wasted if they are used for a chibi character

I didn't get to flood-fill colours ;___;
I had to colour splodges of tones and then erase the areas I didn't want shaded. Possibly the silliest way to do the colouring, but I couldn't find another way that would work >_<
The hands/gloves were the most fun to draw. I like hands ^_^

It was cieltordu and twilight-wings who convinced me to have her garments kept to greytones. Her hair colour was a bit of a more last-minute thought, but I like fire-red hair anyway.
Her chest? Oh dear .. I had a feeling there was something wrong with it too (my sister picked out a 'problem' the first time sketched).
