Description
Been working on this since christmas eve. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, considering it's been forever since I did a watercolor painting on a lineart, and I have no idea how I managed to to that background. Seriously, I hardly looked at reference pictures at all.

The only digital work on this picture involved adjusting the colors to match the original (my scanner kept making it redder than it really was).

Now a bit about the character. This is Da,raga Amar, and as the title says, she is a storm dragon. A few things about storm dragons:
Most of them are female.
Most of them have the common form, which is 4 legs and 2 wings. Only very weak or very powerful storm dragons are different.
As far as anyone can tell, they are born out of storms.
They rarely land on the ground, but just in case, they have strong hind legs.
Once on the ground, they cannot take off unless there is a storm occurring.
This would be Da,raga preparing to take off after having been on the ground for a while.
