Me: I'm taking a hiatus off Powered Fate to study
Also me: let's use this hiatus to draw

This'll be the last art piece before I get off of school! I decided to finally pick my feet up and do a full art piece with an ambitious background, and try something I've never truly dabbled in before: architecture. This is actually a setting from my story I'm writing, Rouge Wings. The full story, as I've said before, will be released once the whole book is done. Right now I'm on chapter 18 out of 25. Also, i'm planning to do an audiobook after to get myself used to speaking more, and to bring in people who wouldn't necessarily like to read it.

This is the palace of the Desert Diamonds, a band of dragons in Rogue Wings. Despite them being the wealthiest band, all of their wealth is put towards expanding and maintaining the castle, which houses all members of royalty, as well as the military. many dragons join just for the housing, as dragon who don't have to build their own huts, seen in the background.
Also, this is the first time I've actually drawn a Desert Diamond! I've shown all the other bands in my references of the main characters, but because none of the mcs are Desert Diamonds, I've never drawn them. As you can see, they're very much inspired off of snakes, and they were actually the first band I created.

AAAAaaand can you tell I'm not good at buildings? I know it looks awful and the design doesn't make sense. Ugh.

I'm not too sure of how proud I am with this, mainly because I'm so inexperienced with building. I might do another piece like this of Orfiyas and Vlegragos (Two cities in the story) to get better at them.
