Lightning was just like Hope only she still has her own problems. Rather than redeem herself for her sister, she helps Hope sin order avoid her own problems.

The image is just as beautiful like the other conversation picture. The best for me is that it is hard to figure it out what Hope is actually thinking with this sad to uninteresting face while Lighting is discussing in the opposite way very lively. The shown contrast between both is well staged.

The mixup of feelings in Hope's face portrays very well what's the conversation about. The lack of intrest is also a way to express that Hope did not agree with Light in the first instance...
