Not to kill the great emotion of this piece, but you know Gordon has just basically saved the world twice or at the very least put total destruction on hold more than once and everything was going right, most likely he was going to finally get some with Alyx and then this happens... Some times life can be so unfair...Β  ^_^

Never thought of this from that point of view. I kinda have a strong headcanon of Gordon treating Alyx like if she were his younger sister despite she obviously has a crush on him.

That's a possibility, but her father kept pushing her or at least teasing her to hook up with Gordon.Β  She is a very strong willed woman.Β  She is apparently single from the start of the game.Β  No mention of previous relationships, although in the context of the game, not much time for small talk like that.Β  I think Gordon is probably larger than life and possibly even a savior to some of the Resistance from the stories being told about him, some myths, some not.Β  Some probably larger than life tales, with some truth to them.Β  And due to the situation of the human race dying out in one form or another, it is time to reproduce... Β  Β
