This was one of those photos I flipped by, stopped for a moment, and then flipped back. It's quite impressive! The lighting is inspired, and there is a certain smoothness and fluidity that makes the eyes that much more striking. Nice self-portrait!

yees, I love lighting too, and shadows.. they are beautiful! One thing I found difficult is to focus correctly.. well, I think all is practice haha

Le falta un poco de enfoque en el ojo. Tiene en las pestañas, pero no en la pupila. En estos casos que estás tan cerca y con un diafragma mas o menos abierto, lo mejor es utilizar tripode, porque cualquier pequeño movimiento hace que te pase esto.
Y ya algo más personal, yo hubiera llevado la imagen, en lugar de a la izquierda, a la derecha, para que fuera una imagen cerrada y la mirada se detuviera en esa parte iluminada de la cara. Tal y como lo tienes, la mirada sigue viajando hacia la derecha... sin encontrar nada de interés.
Tal vez si reencuadres en formato cuadrado tu imagen gane.
