Amazing, sucks that you were disqualified. I think this would have been an amazing qualifier. Love that the concept is a slightly different take on the "apocalypse" Beautiful work

This is a wonderful peace of art work i like how you used some inspriration, I also liked how you put the house on a floating piece of ground, yes? any way i also like how you put humor in this type of scene or situation with the guy holding a fishing pole haaa you made my day i smiled when i saw this thinking if this were to happen there would still be hope

it got disqualified after it was announced as semifinalist. seems i broke the rule of not keeping core elements in the same place

i didnt say i cheated. the rules were just too thin about that. it seemed they needed the artwork to sort of like be a transformation but still a reflection of the original. so me and some other great works missed it by just an inch. others made it even less obvious. i dont mind though, but those were great works

It would be a mighty silly thing to disqualify a work because its uploaded at full size...
How on earth is anyone supposed to appreciate the nuances if artists don't upload full size images.
Well, I love this. I just came back to see if you had progressed further, cuz I really liked this. IMO, this is the most creative work in there. Their loss, really... you did awesome!

When I fist saw this picture, I was pretty sure they would have picked it... so I wasn't surprised to see it together with the other 24 semi-finalists.
I am very sorry to read they removed it. At this point I'm afraid they're gonna do the same with mine... it's a pity because I think the rules weren't exactly 100% clear, at this point.
I mean, I thought I had understood them... but seeing what's happening with these removed AWESOME entries... I'm confused.

This is definitely creative... apocalyptic, yet with a hopeful feel to it.
I love the uplifting features of the image like the wildflowers, the hawk/kite (?) on the car... and the windmills on the floating islands are fantastic conceptions.
Something that does seem distracting are those brown lines, just below the ledge where the man is sitting and also to the further right.
