"Princess! Thank goodness you're back! What took you so long?!" Mei asked completely relieved to see the girl, getting the cape as the two entered in the kitchen from the back door, but stopped once she saw her gloomy expression. "...Are you okay, Your Highness? You look pale..."

"Sorry Mei, it took more time than I thought it would." the young [Last name] handed the bottles to the maid and put the best smile she could. "And yes, I'm fine, don't worry about. Maybe I'm just tired." she passed throught the kitchen and left, worried green eyes following her form.

[Name] woke up the next day feeling the rays of sun passing through the [colour] curtains and reaching her [tone] skin. She feel asleep still thinking about the prince she met, which she named 'Other Seijuro'. Why he protected her? Because he is her childhood friend? If so, what could have happened to change him like that? If not, why he said 'It's really you' then? Where she can find these answers?

*toc toc toc* "Princess [Name], are you awake?" she heard the butler asking from the other side of the door.

"Yes, I am Jin. You may come in." the wooden door was opened, showing the said man with a something in hands.

"Good morning, Your Highness. I have a letter for you."

She furrowed her eyebrows. Who in the world could have sent it? "A letter...? From who?"

"I have no idea, my lady. It has no other name than yours." Jin opened the envelope carefully and handed to her.

Dear Princess [First name] [Last name],
As you can see, I didn't write my name in this letter. However it won't be a problem. You'll know who I am once you finish reading it.

She gave a soft chuckle, realizing she was, indeed, crying and gazed at the men. "Jin, it's... him. It's really him! It's Sei-kun!"

In the distance, the [hair colour] girl spotted the redhead boy caressing a beautiful white horse. Acknowledging her presence, the prince turned his attention to her. After getting down of Epona, the two stared at each others' eyes, until Seijuro broke the silence.

"It's been awhile, [Name]." ah, how she missed hearing her name from him.

"Sei-kun..." she couldn't hold herself back anymore and jumped in his arms. Already anticipating her actions, Seijuro held her tightly, returning the hug. "Sei-kun! I-It's... It's really you! I-I can't believe it!" she pulled away from the warm embrace just enough to have a better look of his face.

Despite being separeted, [Name] has never forgotten of him, not even once. She would often caught herself wondering how he would look like now, both with sixteen years. And, my gosh, he changed a lot. One word couldn't describe the mix of feelings inside her: happiness for seeing her childhood friend again and embarassment for realizing that her childhood friend turned into a very handsome guy.

Noticing the inappropriate thoughts invading her mind, the princess shook her head, light pink crawling her cheeks.

"Huh, are you okay? Do you have a fever?" the scarlet haired prince asked, seeing the new color on the female's face. Seijuro wasn't stupid, he knew that the sudden heat on her face wasn't because of a fever.

"N-No! I-I am fine ahahaha..." she looked everywhere but his eyes to avoid further embarassment. "W-Wait, is that Yukimaru?! Oh my, he'd grown up so much!" she pulled away from the warm embrace and walked towards the white animal.

Seijuro watched as [Name] stroked his horse, a smile adorning her beautiful features, her sliky [length] [colour] hair floating with the wind. Despite being busy all the time, he has never forgotten of her, not even once. He would often caught himself wondering how she would look like, both with sixteen years. But now, having the opportunity to see her again, the young men realized the effect she has on him: at the same time she gives him peace, she makes his heart go crazy.

He put a hand on the left side of his chest. 'I see, this is that feeling...'

The two talked and laughed, making up for all those years without the presence of the other, until they decided it was time to go back before the kings notice the absence of their children.

"We finally manage to see each other again after eleven years and then, you just stop coming here without even bothering to send me an explanation and you think I'm just upset!?" she bit her bottom lip hearing the hurt tone on his voice.

Without a last glance, they ordered, "GUARDS, BURN THE BRIDGE." and walked back to the carriages.

"I knew your daughter was bad influence to Seijuro." Masaomi said in disgust.

"My daughter? Ha! It was your son who influenced her to sneak out of the castle!" [Father's name] replied bitterly. Taking a deep breath, he continued. "This place must be destroyed in order to divide [Kingdom name] and Rakuzan once for all."

"I'll have to agree with you this time."

Without a last glance, they ordered, "GUARDS, BURN THE BRIDGE." and walked back to the carriages.

With eyes widening, the couple outstretched their arms trying desperately to reach the other one while the guards held them back. Having no other choice, [Name] and Seijuro watched the flames consuming the beautiful future they could have had together.
