{Watercolors, and the crappy background with Photoshp 7} I remember I began to love the Inuyasha manga after reading volume 2, I liked the characters a lot, even that weird infantile-look Sesshoumaru XD, and although I know that the woman that appears is not Izayoi, I still liked her look and her background story (Izayoi's one, not Muona).Oh, well, and I tried to make the paint look like a old painting, but the image's weight was too big and I had to reduce it a lot and it ended up like... what you see.

really retty, but she looks a little sad, Izayoi is a pretty happy person, but still very pretty! :approval:

-no offence intended here but....- you don't think she was sad when InuYasha's father died...or when she heard the other children teasing her son?-
Anyway, I understand what you mean, but in one of our first insights to her for real, she was crying because her son had just asked what a halfbreed was.
that being said, I agree with you, it is a wonderful picture.

lol i know, don't worry. i just didn't know if the person who drew this intended for Izayoi to be captured as sad looking.
no offence was taken, I love Izayoi and I knew she always was a happy person, but alays held a sad look in her eyes due to Inuyasha being called a half-breed and not being accepted and her husband dying. :'( 
She is a very strong person in my eyes

That's really awesome. The art is very recognizable as Izayoi but it also looks very ancient Japanese-ish. LOVE those colors.
