Not too long, suprisingly XD less than a week on and off, i was able to focus really well because the project was so interestin. Her character is very similar to one of my own OCs, which fueled the flow of inspiration

That sounds really interesting. I've been doing a lot ofpainting myself lately and am getting the hang of mixing colours to blend in the tones on things like cylinders nd faces which is cool. The way you draw clothes is awesome. Do you do layered washes or use the Airbrush tool for shading? I have just started using the Airbrush tool on GIMP (thans for the tip off by the way) and it's going ok though I'll practice more to make the shading smoother.

The brush i use is called "air brush pen opacity flow". it doesn't have soft edges all around, it just gets darker with pen pressure when using a tablet. otherwise it's more like a hard round brush, i think

Oh that sounds cool, I'll definitely try that. The best airbrush tool is on the PaintStar programme though the one on Gimp is good too. I find using pen pressure difficult with my tablet but I'm sure it'll get better with practice, I suppose it's kinda like shading with a pencil isn't it?
