this is so cool! The papers look very realistic. There is just a little texture 'fail' (no offense) on the crater to the right. Maybe you should revise that. But besides that this is awesome!

Wow this is fantastic! I love the idea of making the tiny planet out of paper mache(and newspaper at that)! That along with putting the stars etc in there as if done by traditional methods....but rendered, just makes this a pleasure to look at... bravo!

Thanks! I just thought it would make sense for a toy robot to land on a paper mache planet / moon. I already had the rocket ship from another image: [link] Once I had everything in the scene, the image just sort of just took care of itself.
