Yeh, This show is hilariously well written, well animated and undeniably stupid. I love it!Because of this, I decided to remake one of the pictures found in the show. Specifically, the family portrait found by the front door of the Watterson house.
The reason that this looks so derpy (besides sub-standard artistic ability) is the the original is also a bit on the derp side.

I'd agree with you if it weren't for the fact that I can't reliably draw anything good from scratch.
Most people learn to draw before figuring out colours and shading. I'm a bit 'backwards' in that regard
