I like. but those questions do seem to easy....
Try figuring out how to detect whether two boxes intersect, and then, after finding a way to do that discovering you don't know how to get the original points from a DirectX transformation matrix...

Hmm... faintly disturbing. I'd probably lose the fuzzy edges between the frames/around the edge of the frames - the frames as simple black lines is fine and dandy.
