Description This ended up in a totally different direction from the original idea,....I went all over the world to get the right feel and concept and ended up referencing LOTR for the costumes and the time period..

The characters are my own, no specific scene/situation.. I imagine there were a lot of wars then.

It is spring, dawn is just breaking and the army is ready to leave...

I just wanted to show the emotions of saying goodbye when you don't know if you'll see each other again..she's trying not to cry because that is not the face she wants him to remember..

Mom's dress..Arwen, Dad's, Legolas and decided against giving him long hair..baby's was a guess..

070609: Edited the baby, hands, and tweaked the background, plus numerous minor details..

As usual, comments and criticisms are welcome..

Oh, and said that it's best seen downloaded to full size..so enjoy

..I have been trying, but so far not very successful in playing with lighting..I get distracted by the details..

Haha you should try photoshop. You can adjust he levels/contrast etc pretty easily.

Bravo! I love the way it turned out! Great idea about changing epoch! Now it looks much more emotional and now there's a story behind the picture. But maybe you'll add "download for full view" p.s. 'cause it needs to be viewed full size! Great job!
