Description Bloodline: Unknown to me.
Breed: American Bully.
Owner: Tiffany Stover of Kentucky.
Description: Moto Moto - the dog pictured - won best in show at the September 11 Bluegrass Bully Association show. Don't let his large size and panting fool you, he was out there doing the weight pull the best he could right before the show. I forgot how much he pulled total but he still didn't beat the game-bred dogs pull. Nonetheless, Moto Moto deserved this award; he's even more spectacular in real life, without the horrible quality of my pictures tainting him. :<

The shows sound fascinating! How do the dogs compete to win?

You just stack them in a forward and side position and you "gait" them by walking them in whatever motion the judge requests (usually an oval). Nothing too hard if your dog conforms with the breeds standards.

Wow. That sounds so simple. I thought it was complicated.

Not too complicated! Unless you have bad nerves, like the first time I had to do it. I was shaking all over and worried I'd do it right but it's a breeze (if the dog likes you!)

The shows are such a better way to show off the breeds beauty and strength, without fighting them.

It's not fair. There are just so many other ways to highlight the breeds amazing body.

If he a pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier or.. because a proper American Pit Bull Terrier should not be that short thats a Bull Dog Not a True Pitbull In my opinion.

I never claimed Moto Moto was an American Pit Bull Terrier; it's actually clearly stated in the description that he's an American Bully. Owning a game-bred dog myself, it would be purely ignorant of myself to claim these dogs as anything but American Bully. Also, bull dogs are occasionally listed under pit bulls depending on your region. Down here, anything with a pit bull quality is a pit bull, including bullies. I may not agree entirely but nonetheless, I would never claim one of these dogs as an American Pit Bull Terrier.

Good looking dog. He seems a little sway-backed here, but I think that's just the angle of the photo.

Likely. I'll try and get a better photo of him stacked at the next show.
