Here's some Tony hanging out on the roof of one of the nicer places he stayed at when he was living in the New England area! He's in his early 200's here.I'm really glad he's a favorite character for so many, because I love drawing him!

Hehe yup what Mia said! Tonius Zopfius Vonharnier, but he shortened it to "Tony" around the time this illustration would be taking place.
Tonius is a real name though, it's a shortened version of Antonius. It's certainly not a German name (it's Roman in fact!) but Tony's mom decided that the shortened variation was the perfect name for him!

I love how you did his eyes, and how classy he looks here! :') His hair looks so fun to play with heh...but dang those HANDS really blow me away!! I like that pale kinda-faded look to them, and the nails especially. Really hits the nail on the head with the whole "stillborn child" origin thing with alps, if that makes sense!
How old is Tony now? I envy that you have settled ages for your immortal/paranormal/etc characters, that's something I really have trouble with...xD

As of the comic-verse time, 278 (2004!) and as of 2015 he'd be 289! (oh gosh, that's not even the half of things I got settled, I'm having to compile a whole bible to keep things in order!) Really the key to it is to decide what sort of theme or elements you want to incorporate into the character. I wanted his story to be set far back enough that superstitions still lingered but it was on the cusp of modernization so there was doubt that creatures such as alps were real, and well before bad stuff started going down in his home country! So pretty much these things factor heavily into their origins and how it formed the kind of people they would become. (βαβ)
