Update: I found one guy here on DA, who made an update for shimeji, so it can work on older versions of java.

I disagree. Firstable he was just a creepy observer, standing on the fog line and building strange structures from time to time. Community made him a ghost of Notch's brother. And after that, he became a murderer. With glowing eyes and magic powers and whatever
I think my version not worse than any other. x) Besides... I personally don't feel him as classic Herobrine at all. With all this 'Notch's brother' or "mindless creepy monster". But... you will see, and you will be able decide do you like him or not.

Well at the beginning when he was just a creepy pasta, there were peoples overcoating the stories with how he killed their character and their Minecraft turned black. Later on, the mods that were added made it into a real murderer xD
